Plusieurs personnes nous contactent en pensant qu’ils s'adressent à une agence de placement, mais les Centres-conseils en emploi sont bien différents. Bien que nous ayons tous l'objectif de vous aider à trouver un emploi, le rôle d’un Centre-conseil en emploi est de vous transmettre tous les outils nécessaires à une recherche d'emploi fructueuse et de vous plonger dans un cadre stimulant qui augmentera votre confiance en vous.
Aussi, un Centre-conseil en emploi est un organisme à but non lucratif centré sur le développement de la personne et de son autonomie par une approche humaniste. Les agences de placement, avec qui il nous arrive de collaborer, peuvent être un tremplin pour obtenir un emploi surtout lorsque l'on ne possède pas tous les critères demandés pour accéder à un milieu de travail. Mais, même si certaines agences offrent de bonnes conditions, il faut bien être vigilant.
Certaines agences peuvent freiner votre accès à un poste permanent. Puis, il faut s'attendre à des emplois contractuels et à un salaire parfois moindre sans les conditions de travail des employés réguliers. Comme le disait Confucius ou un proverbe africain (cela dépend de vos sources) : « Quand un homme a faim, mieux vaut lui apprendre à pêcher que de lui donner un poisson».
